Alejandro del Rio: SSH

Alejandro works at the Mexican Consolate in Washington, D.C. He’s very fluent in languages such as English, Spanish, and Nahuatl. According to him, Taylor Sinclair and Joanna Riggs are modern day conquistadors.

Andy Jason: DDI

Andy has his own museum dedicated to whales called Whale World. He also gives whale-watching tours, but also has competition with Katie Firestone. He’ll do anything to buy her business out.

Beatrice Hotchkiss (aka Professor Hotchkiss): TRT

Professor Hotchkiss, a guest at Wickford Castle, is there working on her theory about Marie Antoinette. She’s very secretive about her theory and gets easily frustrated if you constantly knock on her door. She’s fluent in French and is kind enough to translate for you. She’s also a tad bit eccentric. When asked what she’d like to eat she has stated that she’s not really a meat eater, but will scarf down fifty drumsticks if she has to! Although, according to her website www.iamhotchkiss.com. She’s a Scorpio, her favorite food is fried chicken legs, and she has two ancient pet turtles named Mick and Keith.

Bill Kessler: ICE

In no relation to Rolfe Kessler (The Haunted Carousel), Bill is an avid ice-fisherman. He likes to spend his time out on the lake catching Northern Pikes. Even though his trip has been ruined because of the wolf, he still wishes they would capture it and destroy it. Since he doesn’t go out to the lake as much he enjoys playing Fox & Geese with Lou Talbot and Nancy when she has the chance. You can usually find him napping on the game board.

Brady Armstrong: FIN

Brady is an actor. Discovered at the original Coney Dog Stand on Sunset Boulevard by his agent Simone Mueller. Brady loves all the attention and the spotlight his acting career tends to bring him.

Charleena Purcell: TRN (also a phone character in SHA)

Charleena is a writer of romance novels. She takes her laptop everywhere and until she writes the phrase “the end,” you’ll find her constantly typing and researching on her laptop.

Charlie Murphy: MHM

Charlie is a college student in San Francisco. He works part-time renovating Rose and Abby’s Victorian mansion.

Colin Baxter: VEN

Connie Watson: SCK

Connie is a student at Paseo Del Mar High School. She’s very athletic and formerly dated Jake Rogers.

Daryl Gray: SCK

Daryl is a student at Paseo Del Mar High School and Student Council President. He drives a fancy car and works at Maxine’s Diner. He’s also considered very popular.

Dave Gregory: SHA

Dave is a ranch hand at Shadow Ranch. He’s a very handsome and a down-to-earth kind of guy. He also develops a crush on Nancy.

Dexter Egan: TRT

Dexter is the manager and caretaker of Wickford Castle. Watch out for him. He tends to be a bit of a grump!

Dieter Von Schwesterkrank: DAN

Dieter is a very well known photographer. He has said that women love being photographed by him in order to make a mark in the modeling world. He also dated Minette for a short time until she broke off the relationship.

Dwayne Powers: STFD

Dwayne is a talent agent. He represents Mattie Jenson and formerly represented Rick Arlen. Dwayne is a bit bitter over Rick leaving him for a bigger agency. Dwayne also represents Nancy so she could be an extra on the set of “Light of Our Love.”

Elliott Chen: CAR

Elliott is the park artist at Captain’s Cove Amusement Park in New Jersey. He’s a master at procrastination and is constantly behind in his work. He also loves riddles.

Emily Crandall: CLK

Emily is the “inherited” owner of the Lilac Inn. She’s a bit of a wreck since her mom died and has trouble coming to terms with her death.

Emily Griffen: DOG

Emily is the owner of Em’s Emporium. She is also known for “finding” items in Moon Lake such as bottles. She also says that everytime she hears the ghost dogs howling it gives her the bee-jee-be’s!

Enrico Tazza: VEN

Ethel Bosinny: CUR

Ethel is Jane Penvellyn’s tutor. Ethel’s family has a long history in tutoring Penvellyn’s and Ethel intends to keep that history going.

Fatima: TRN

Fatima runs Buell’s, a “debris from lost lives” museum, located in Copper Gorge.

Frank Hardy: TRN, CRE (also has been a phone character in SSH, DOG, CAR, DDI, and DAN)

Frank is the level-headed brother. He takes his work as a detective for ATAC (American Teens Against Crime) seriously.

Freddie Randall: ICE

Freddie is Ollie’s daughter. She is a very spirited child, who loves spending time outside and challening people to snowball fights. She calls herself the ‘Snow Princess’ and stays out in the cold all day long in her snow fort.

Guadalupe ‘Lupe’ Comillo: ICE

Guadalupe or ‘Lupe’ is a guest at Icicle Creek Lodge. She claims that she came to watch birds, but yet she knows very little about them. She seems to know more about wolves then she leads on. Could she be behind the mysterious accidents in order to drive the guests aways and have the lodge closed?

Hal Tanaka: SCK

Hal is a Japanese exchange student at Paseo Del Mar High School. He’s a very serious student, but lately the pressure of getting a scholarship is getting to him.

Harlan Bishop: CAR

Harlan works as the security guard at Captain Cove’s Amusement Park in New Jersey. He really likes his job and is working hard to prove everyone wrong.

Heather McKay: DAN

Heather is Minette’s assistant and is the only person who hasn’t been fired by Minette. Heather is determined to make it as designer in the fashion world of Haute Couture.

Hector “Hulk” Sanchez: SCK

Hector is a student at Paseo Del Mar High School. He is also the quarterback for the Fighting Manatee’s - the school’s team. He also doesn’t like pushy girls.

Henrik is one of the top glyph readers in the field. He works at the Beech Hill museum in Washington, D.C.

Ingrid is the cheif engineer at Captain’s Cove Amusement Park in New Jersey. She’s also very conscious of aura’s and nutrition deficiency.

Jane Penvellyn: CUR

Jane is 12 years old. She loves playing games and wants to make computer games when she grows up. She once had a hamster, but he died. She knows her entire family history and can tell you about a specific person’s life just by asking her about them. And she thinks Brady Armstrong is cute.

Jane is Emily Crandall’s guardian. She’s helping Emily run the Lilac Inn.

Jacques Brunais: TRT

Jacques is a professional French skiier and a ski instructor at Wickford Castle. He’s also engaged to his fiancée, Isabelle who is an American. He came halfway acrossed the world for love.

Jean-Michel Traquenard: DAN

Jean-Michel is the editor of Glam Glam magazine. He almost always can be found at the Café Kiki. He really dislikes if you pronouce his name wrong.

Jeff Akers: DOG

Jeff is Moon Lake’s park ranger. Rumor is it that he loves giving out tickets for disrepecting the park rules and regulations. He also has a dog named Yogi.

Jenna Deblin: DDI

Jenna, owner of the Hot Kettle Cafe, is famous for her Clam Chowder. She’s a very good listener, loves to talk, and has a kind heart. She also loves to talk about the shanghaiing that used to go on in the old days.

Jim Archer: CLK

Jim owns his own bank, but unfortunately thanks to the Depression it’s going under. He’s a good man, but tries to hide the fact that he’s not going to be able to afford anything for much longer.

Jing-Jing Ling: DAN

Jing-Jing is a plus-sized model for Minette, but was tricked into signing her contract. She loves playing hangman and making mint chocolate chip cookies.

Joanna Riggs: SSH

Joanna is the curator at Beech Hill museum in Washington, D.C. She takes her job pretty seriously and will do anything to get the museum’s Mayan display off the ground. Joanna is often heard saying “Semper Ubi Sub Ubi.” and “Carpe diem!”

Joe Hardy: TRN, CRE (also has been a phone character in SSH, DOG, CAR, DDI, and DAN)

Joe is more of the jokester type. He, too, takes his work as detective for ATAC (American Teens Against Crime) seriously, but is more inclined to think out side of the box.

John Grey: TRN

John is a ghost hunter. He has the equipment and knowledge in order to catch evidence that there are ghosts and spirits among us. He even has his own TV show called, “Ghost Chasers.” He can also sense when someone is in danger.

Joseph Hughes: FIN

Joseph is the caretaker of the Royal Palladium Theater. He has worked there for several years and knows the history of the building. It’s more or less a home to him.

Joy Trent: CAR

Joy is the accoutant of Captain’s Cove Amusement Park in New Jersey. Her father, Daryl Trent, once co-owned it before he died. After he died Paula Santos gave Joy her job. Joy suspects she got her job out of pity from Paula. Joy is considered Joy-less among her co-workers. She has a hard time letting go of the past. Her mother died when she was very young and she’s been depriving herself of happiness ever since.

Katie Firestone: DDI

Katie, a marine biologist and a friend of George’s, has a whale-watching tour business in Snake Horse Harbor. Her rival, Andy Jason, is always trying to buy her business out.

Leticia Drake: CUR

Leticia is Jane Pevenllyn’s great aunt. She is very proper and doesn’t like kids that are loud and like to run off with things that isn’t theirs. She enjoys spending time in the conservatory with her precious and unique plants. She also misses her brother Alan, deeply.

Lillian Weiss: STFD

Lillian, the World Wide Broadcasting director, is a bit bitter. She goes to anger management and has a hard time getting over the fact that Rick Arlen dumped her for Mattie Jenson.

Linda Penvellyn: CUR

Linda is Hugh Penvellyn’s new bride. She has a step daughter, Jane but she thinks Jane is a tad bit weird. Recently, the family moved from the United States to England, where they reside at Blackmoor Manor. Not long after the move, Linda started acting strange. She flies off the handle, craves strange and disgusting foods like raw meat and hides behind a curtain in her bedroom, day and night.

Lisa Ostrum: TRT

Lisa, a guest at Wickford Castle, is a photojournalist. She says she’s out in Wisconsin on assignment doing research on creepy old mid-western castles. Her favorite thing to do is gossip.

Lori Girard: TRN

Lori is a party-loving socialite. Her father is very rich and gives her anything she wants. She even talked him into buying Jake Hurley’s old train so she could take it on on the tracks to find out what happened to Jake.

Louis Chandler: MHM

Louis, owner of Chandler Interiors, is helping Rose and Abby with advice on their renovation work on their old Victorian mansion. He spends most of his time in the mansion’s library researching.

Lou Talbot: ICE

An art major, Lou recently graduated from University of California. Lou isn’t much of a talker, but he feels that the wolf is just that and not responsible for the recent sabotage at the lodge. Is it possible that he’s covering his own tracks?

Malachi Craven, Dr.: CRE

Malachi runs the Hilihili Research Compound. He’s very secretive with his work and won’t let just anyone into the compound. He’s known for being very strong tempered and will fire an employee right off the bat.

Malika: DAN

Malika is a merchant at Pont Neuf.

Mary Yazzie: SHA

Mary owns her own store, Mary’s Gifts, located just beyond Shadow Ranch. She’s part Indian, trains horses, and enjoys riding them; especially, her Palomino named Banner. She has been trying to buy a piece of property from the Rawley’s but they keep declining. She is also frequently seen on the Shadow Ranch property.

Mattie Jenson: STFD

Mattie is an actress. She co-stars on “Light Of Our Love,” with Rick Arlen, whom she formerly dated when they were on the touring company of Romeo & Juliet.

Maya Nyugen: FIN

Maya is Nancy’s friend from high school back in River Heights. Currently, she’s a journalist trying to get the scoop on Brady Armstrong.

Mike Mapu: CRE

Mike owns Big Island Mike’s Immersion Excursion. He loves shave ice and believes in the local legends about Kane Okala and Pele.

Miles the Magnificent Memory Machine: CAR

Miles is a “mechanical” person designed by Daryl Trent (Joy’s father). Miles is pre-programmed and has phrases so you can talk to him. He is kept in Joy’s office and left on while Joy is out. When Joy knows she’s going to have company over she keeps him covered up because he’s sort of a blabbermouth. He is also programmed with several riddles to help Joy come to terms with her past.

Millie Strathorn: STFD

Millie is the founder of World Wide Broadcasting and runs the prop room. She’s a bit eccentric and won’t let anyone into her prop room without being clever enough to solve her riddles. She also has a hard time grasping the concept that Rory Danner is Rick Arlen’s character and not Rick himself.

Minette: DAN

Minette is one of the top fashion designers of Haute Couture. She wears a white mask, covering her entire face, day and night. She won’t take the mask off because she says she designs clothes and that’s what matters. She has very dramatic temper tantrums and really dislikes bugs, but she won’t kill them. She also dated Dieter Von Schwesterkrank for a short time until she broke off the relationship.

Mitch Dillon: SCK

Mitch is known as a shady guy. He visits Maxine’s Diner frequently and has many secrets. He’s also said to be very dangerous.

Nick is the leader of an organization known as HAD-IT (Humans Against the Destruction of Illustrious Theaters). He is known (mostly by the police) for his “extreme” tactics in order to save theaters from the wrecking ball.

Nigel Mookerjee: CUR

Nigel is a historian currently researching the Penvellyn family history. He’s in the progress of writing a book about the Penvellyn’s and also is in the progress of working on his memoirs.

Ollie Randall: ICE

Ollie works at Icicle Creek Lodge as the resident handyman. Ollie lives at the lodge with his young daughter, Freddie. Ollie thinks that if the wolf is shot the problems happening at the lodge will cease.

P

Pua Mapu: CRE

Pua is a fulltime surfer. When she’s not out on the waves surfing she’s usually thinking about surfing. Pua also helps her father, Mike, run Big Island Mike’s Immersion Excursion. She teaches surfing to those who sign up for the excursion and is the go to person when you want to exchange necklaces and fish for Big Island Bucks.

Quigley is a an entomologist (a bug scientist). She’s a bit quirky and tends to go off subject when she’s talking.

Ralph Guardino: STFD

Ralph is a security guard at World Wide Broadcasting.

Red Knott: DOG

Red enjoys heading over to Moon Lake to do some bird watching. He has stated that the reason he loves Moon Lake is because most people can’t stand living that far away from society in which it makes it ideal for bird watching. Red is also apart of PEPSOB (People for the Preservation and Study of Birds).

Renee Amande: CRY

Richard owns his own buisness for the development of paranormal powers or ESP (extra sensory preception) which resides in Josiah Crowley’s old home.

Rick Arlen: STFD

Rick is an actor. Rick co-stars on “Light Of Our Love,” with Mattie Jenson. Rick’s ego is as big as his bank account and he formerly dated Mattie when they were on the touring company of Romeo & Juliet.

Rose Green: MHM

Rose is the owner of The Golden Gardenia, a bed & breakfast in San Francisco.

Simone is Brady Armstrong’s agent. She’s very sarcastic and to her everything is business. She’s constantly on her phone making plans for Brady’s next job. She also has controlling issues.

Shorty Thurmond: SHA

Shorty is the cook at Shadow Ranch. He plays guitar and sings - horribly and his co-workers think his food is gross. In his spare time he’s usually out mining for gold in the Shadow Mountain area.

Taylor Sinclair: SSH

Taylor works as an art dealer in Washington, D.C. He helped Joanna Riggs close the Monolith deal and even sells Poppy Dada’s artwork.

Tex Britten: SHA

Tex is the head wrangler at Shadow Ranch. He’s a no nonsense type of guy and takes his job pretty seriously. He also thinks that all city slickers can’t handle ranch life.

Tino Balducci: TRN

Tino is a police detective. He solved a robbery, basically because he was in the right place at the right time, and now he’s famous for it. His ego is pretty big and he’s trying hard to live up to his recent claim to fame.
