Not an Egg
There was a rumor going on the Her Interactive board that the ghost of Marie Antoinette was actually in the game as an egg. If you followed a certain set of directions you would see the suit of armor move and you’ll see Marie’s ghost in the upstairs hallway. It’s not true. It may have been a glitch in that particular game, but I’m more inclined to think that the girl who had posted the rumor, just made it up. No one else has been able to prove it when you follow her directions. Even Her Interactive said, it may have been a glitch in her game. Case closed!

After you call them, go to the woods, and don’t stay on the path. If you come to a dead end or if there is only one way to turn, try turning in the opposite direction. With the egg, you can take new paths.

When you’re in Ingrid’s office while she’s out, go to the door and click on the very left hand corner. A man will call you and ask you what the capital of Wisconsin is. Type “Madison” to give an answer and then he will present you with a brand new easter egg. Go to Elliot’s - make sure he leaves first - and then look at the box of horse tails. Leave and go to the Midway. Next to the prize machine click to the far right and something interesting will happen!

Click on the guppy in the tidepool about 29-30 times.
Head to the Hot Kettle Cafe, and go down into the tunnels. Go to the door that opens to the hardware store and open and close it about 7-8 times.
Take a break and make a sandcastle on the beach. Once you’re satisfied with how it looks, hover over into the right hand corner and when the magnifying glass turns red, click. Then go to your Nancy Drew folder and locate the file called “sandcastle.bmp”. Ta-da! It’s a capture of your sandcastle!

Go to Jane’s room and click on the chattering teeth about 10 times. An egg will appear in your investory. Click on the teeth again and you’ll heard a funny noise. Go back to your room and holding your egg, set the alarm for 6:00PM. When you wake up, set your alarm to 6:00AM while still holding the egg to have a very amusing dream. This is known as the “frog” dream.
While holding the egg, click on the last button on your phone. You’ll hear a very familiar voice.

When you go into Dieter’s darkroom to develop the fabric photos, flush the toilet 10 times. An egg will appear in your inventory.

After you deliver the photos to Dieter he’s no longer in the darkroom, but when you knock on the door he answers from within the darkroom.
You can give the bottle of wine to Monsieur Merchand even if you didn’t ask him about the decoder. He’ll act like he already talked to you about it.

Go to the bathroom and wait for Nancy to mention 1-555-Mystico. Then go down to the lobby and call the number. Mystico will ask you what you seek. You have many different options to choose from, but choose “something very special” to start toward the egg. Mystico will tell you to return to the icy beyond, which means go back to the fishing hut. From there cast the line and begin fishing. Eventually, an egg will float by in the water. When you catch it, it will appear in your inventory. If it’s night time and after dinner you can go back and select the other options, go back to your room, and then set your alarm. You’ll have a weird dream and then you’ll be able to enter the Chinook room.

First Egg: When you’ve managed to first enter the secret room, play the skeeball game. In order to get the first egg you have to turn all the blocks to chickens. You’ll hear a chicken and then you have to turn all the blocks back to mouths. Then the egg will come down the ball chute and you can pick it up.

Second Egg: Using the symbols from Prof. Hotchkiss’ website, you can decode them using the chest in Renée’s room. (That’s how I figured it out.) Using my number code in the image below, press in each number for each symbol.

After you take the hairpin. Go to the locked door next to Colin. Unlock the door (the same way you do with Fango’s) and you will hear a chicken. Then an egg will appear in your inventory.
Make a cone of Gelato with Cherry, Coconut, Lime. You’ll hear a chicken. Then go to your inventory and discover a brand new easter egg in Italy’s colors!
