Below, I have compiled a list of songs (and some extra’s) that you can find in the sound folder of your Nancy Drew games. Unfortunately, this is a list and probably will remain only a list. I don’t have the legal right to put up all the songs for you to download. However, I have included links to some of the songs that the artists themselves have available on their websites. These sites are as follows: Kevin Manthei’s, Kevin Riepl’s, John DeBorde’s, and Mike Patti’s. Plus, Her Interactive for their SCK files. (Note: the cover to the left was created by me. It’s not an official album cover.)
Each file below has it’s own little chart. Games 1-5 have an extra column for titles. These are the games that have irregular filenames. Games 6-16 (and soon 17) have actual titles as their filename. There is also an extra column for every game called “Heard In.” Basically, this is just to give you an idea of where in the game you can hear the song. For instance, in the Curse of Blackmoor Manor, the song “Brigitte” (instrumental) is heard in the end credits. While “Prep” is heard in the laboratory. Some songs may have a ‘?’ listed under this category. This is a result of bad memory on my part. I did most of this from memory. I will be filling these in eventually. Until then this is what I have so far. This list isn’t found anywhere on the web but right here. ^_^
You can download all the songs that are available from each website in one convenient zip. Save the artists some bandwidth by grabbing the songs this way. All songs previously and currently available from these artists are available in the zip. I’ve also included my rips of the three SCK songs (in mp3 format) that Her Interactive has on their website in wav format.
